How can/do you praise God in the middle of your story, before everything has all “worked out”? Mary sang the beautiful Magnificat, praising God for all that He has done while Jesus was still inside her womb. She didn’t know what the next 33 years were going to look like. God had yet to do what she was praising Him for doing. She was praising the promise that she knew would be fulfilled.
