“This is my beloved Son. Listen to Him.” We really want to see Jesus, but the Father calls us to listen to Him. To listen to what He has to say. And Jesus tells us to share what we have seen and heard. Luther once said, if you want to see Jesus, “stecke deine augen in deine ohren.” If you want to see Jesus, stick your eyes in your ears. Through hearing, you see Jesus.
