Sometimes comfort comes through words. Sometimes it comes simply through presence.
Phinehas Comfort Dog has become a familiar face in the Fremont community, creating connections with people of all ages and bringing a calm, caring presence wherever he goes. Alongside his handlers, Phinehas visits schools, community events, and other places where a little extra encouragement can make a difference.
That ministry also reaches into some of life’s hardest moments. Phinehas has traveled to places touched by tragedy, offering comfort to people who are hurting and creating space for conversation, prayer, and care.
It is a simple ministry in many ways. Show up. Be present. Care for the person in front of you. And through that presence, reflect the compassion of Jesus.
