What are the two most important factors for passing on your faith to your children and grandchildren?
1. Consistency in Worship Time together.
2. Consistency in Family Time together.
On Sunday, January 25, our special guest speaker, DCE Tim Rippstein, Assistant Professor of Education at Concordia University, Seward, preached and lead a workshop for adults, parents and grandparents on how to have Family Time together. All Trinity 3rd Graders received a gift made possible by the Lutheran Church Extension Fund - a free copy of Family Time: A Collection of 98 Bible Stories & Devotions published by Concordia Publishing House in 2014. Thanksgiving to God for all our Trinitarians who partnered with Rebuilding Together for six Saturday mornings in a row: Mark Brunner, Marlene Brunner, Tami & Mya Bolden, Roy Hahn & Kathie Nathan, Greg Johnson, Ernie Hall, Jeff Johnson, John Bonow, Gregg & Ellen Lund, Duane Kiekow, Tim & Jake Weinrich, Beta Sigma Psi (our Lutheran fraternity at Midland University), & Pastor Coe. Together we scraped, primed, painted, installed gutters, installed railings, replaced rotten wood, replaced light fixtures, & improved the homes & lives of 4 low-income homeowners in Fremont. “Love the Lord your God & your Neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:30-31).
